If you are interested in hiring a forensic psychologist to help with any criminal or civil case you are currently involved in, I want to let you know that it is my policy to not be retained directly by the subject of the evaluation or the subject's family, friends, etc. I believe the subject of the evaluation should be different from the client of the evaluation. Therefore, it is my practice to only be retained by the court or by attorneys. As such, if you believe my services may be helpful to you in your current legal proceedings, please have your attorney (private or public defender) contact me directly. I will require that your attorney pay me directly, and you and your counsel can work out how those fees are funded.
